Who is responsible

Knowledge Studio is the controller for account data and the processor for the content you create in the service. Contact: privacy@example.com. Address: Company address to be completed.

What we process

• Account data: name, email address, workspace membership, role and sign-in events.
• Content you create: screen recordings, microphone audio, uploaded or pasted articles and images.
• Generated content: transcripts, scripts, narration audio, rendered video, article text and embeddings.
• Usage data: processing minutes, credit usage, job history and error logs for support and billing.

Legal basis

Account and usage data is processed to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and correctly metered. Content you upload is processed solely on your instructions.

Recordings and other people

A screen recording can capture personal data shown on your screen. You are responsible for what you record. Use test data where possible, and do not record other people's personal data without a legal basis.

Sub-processors

We use processors for hosting, database and storage, speech-to-text, language models, text-to-speech and video rendering. The current list is in the data processing terms. Some process data outside the EU/EEA under EU standard contractual clauses.

Retention

• Source recordings and uploaded sources: kept while the article exists, deleted with it.
• Generated articles and assets: kept until you delete them or close the workspace.
• Account and billing records: kept as required by accounting law.
• Deleting a workspace removes its content and stored files.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing. Export is also available directly in the product. Write to privacy@example.com. You may complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

Data is isolated per workspace with row-level security, files are stored in private storage reachable only through short-lived signed links, and all AI provider keys are held server-side.

Cookies

We set only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
